After we left Hotel LeRivage in the Montreal area, we drove on to Quebec City. We had quite a challenge parking there, and Google maps took us back-and-forth on one block three times before we could figure out which direction to walk to the Citadel overlooking the St. Lawrence Seaway.
We walked around the Old City and enjoyed the beautiful buildings. As we drove out, it was interesting to see various ages of the development of the city. Traffic was heavy, and it was rainy.
Filling up with gas was a case study of Quebec culture! Neither our Spanish or English proved very helpful! In New Brunswick, there was a break in the rain which helped us get set up for camping at Le Republique Provincial Park.
Due to the rain, we cooked inside our gazebo. It also rained hard during the night.
